Person of Interest

I just finished watching the whole four (4) seasons of Person of Interest, I heard about this series like two years ago then started watching the first season but I was not really into the plot yet so I stopped watching at episode 6. Then I want to make things right and gave it another try this time from first episode till the last one of season 4.

I wanted to make a blog per season but I think if I should do that I must watch the entire thing again and do a blog every after episode but I'll just talk about why you should watch this series.

I've watched at least 5 series from April 1 to April 13, ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK, ORPHAN BLACK, SUPERGIRL, THE 100, AND  PERSON OF INTEREST. I really liked all the series I've watched lately because of its amazing girl power house in the casts and of course the plot, but one series got me really hooked up the reason why I wasn't able to sleep for four (4) days just so I can binge watch the entire series and if it isn't more obvious it's Person of Interest.

Here's a brief summary on what the series is about: (source: Wikipedia)
Person of Interest is an American science fiction[1] crime drama television series created by Jonathan Nolan that premiered on September 22, 2011, on CBS.[2] It is produced by Nolan, alongside J.J. Abrams, Bryan Burk, and Greg Plageman. It centers on John Reese (Jim Caviezel), a presumed-dead former CIA agent who is hired by a mysterious billionaire named Harold Finch (Michael Emerson), to prevent impending violent crimes predicted by the Machine, a mass-surveillance computer system that relays the identity of a single person predicted to be the crime victim or perpetrator. Their efforts to covertly infiltrate the lives of their targets and mete out their particular brand of justice attracts the attention of two NYPD officers: Jocelyn "Joss" Carter (Taraji P. Henson) and Lionel Fusco (Kevin Chapman), both of whom Reese uses to his advantage during his investigations. Reese and Finch are later aided by Samantha "Root" Groves (Amy Acker), a highly intelligent computer hacker and contract killer whom the Machine later designates as its "analog interface" with administrative access, and Sameen Shaw (Sarah Shahi), a former ISA assassin who dealt with the "relevant" (terrorism-related) targets unknowingly fed to her by by the Machine.
The series was renewed for a 13-episode fifth season,[3] which will debut on May 3, 2016, airing two episodes a week until its final episode on June 21, 2016.[4] CBS announced that this will be the final season.[5]The series has received generally positive reception from critics, including an increase in acclaim when the series introduced moreserialized storylines and its exploration of artificial intelligence.
The main reason why I've been really invested in this show is because of its story and the casts were just a bonus and they are really good at their job. The arc of each character were never rushed you can actually see that the writers and producers really thought of where the story is heading and not just write something that would lure people into watching the show I mean that's part of the market but that ain't the focus in making a series, one great example of what I'm trying to say is "queer baiting" I'm not gonna mention any series that does that, but most shows do that now just for the ratings and money, so yeah. I'm a big Shoot shipper (Root and Shaw) note that my sexuality is not the interesting part about me, I'm a big Finch and Bear shipper as well actually I ship everyone in the series (I can do both ways, if you know what I mean) but that's just on the surface. I'll be writing about some depths that this show has taught me.

First is, how important is it to find your purpose. You might have a good job and good companions
but if you do not know why you are actually doing it then you'll get lost in process. Next, how important is it to have someone that got your back when you get in trouble, I know the importance of solidarity because I myself spend so much time alone as much as possible but what's the purpose of good and bad things in your life if you have no one to share it with right? Lastly, just because you are flawed doesn't mean you don't deserve a second chance. a second chance on what? on everything or life basically. Every character in Person of Interest has their own personal issue especially with their past but the machine gathered all these flawed people together to create something greater than their flaws and that is to help people. That's why I'm a trash in the Shoot Ship because they are totally full pledge flawed two individuals but when they are together or work together they create something great and I think they are one of the show runners of the show not that I'm just invested in their relationship but I think it helped a lot people in a lot of communities in dealing what they are going through right now and I'm talking about real life situation.

I just found out that earlier this year that CBS (where Person of Interest is running) cancelled the series and is off to its last season (season 5) with just 13 episodes. Each season usually have 23 episodes except for season 4 it had 22 episodes only. MY POINT IS THAT THIS SHOW IS SO UNDERRATED. The casts got a pure and rare talent the way they deliver their characters the way they connect to their characters is undeniably amazing, I mean some vampire series crap can run up until 7 or 8 seasons, budget? yeah, but people should be aware of shows like this because this show got some depth and some real life situation dilemmas and not just siblings fighting over some girl I mean c'mon now, I used to watch those kind of TV shows (vampire crap) I was in it for the love story and that was it but Person of Interest is way too different form any other TV Series crap I mean it is not perfect the show has its own loopholes but just 5 seasons and 13 episodes? I mean we can do better than that! For those people who hasn't watch this well I suggest you start now this show doesn't only entertain viewers but more so you learn from it. I really do recommend this show and Orphan Black.
